Robinson Metal, Inc., is excited to announce the recent acquisition of Product Handling Concepts (PHC), a custom engineering company specializing in designing, building, and integrating top-of-the-line automated solutions for manufacturers in tissue, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods.

PHC is a ten-year-old company known for developing cutting-edge automated product handling equipment and integrated packaging systems.

The partnership between Product Handling Concepts and Robinson (RMI) began years ago, as a customer/supplier relationship.  In 2016, Robinson joined PHC’s investment group, and in 2017 became their exclusive manufacturing partner. From that time, the two companies developed collaborative strategies to provide unsurpassed value to the markets they serve.

The integration of PHC into RMI’s diverse and expansive capabilities provides customers a “one stop shop” delivering a cost effective, vertically integrated manufacturing platform supported by quality workmanship and unmatched fabrication expertise.

“We are excited about the new skill set and energetic team PHC brings to our company, along with the diversification it allows”, said Darrell La Crosse, President of Robinson Metal.

PHC’s team of engineers, project managers, and mechanical assemblers will join the Robinson team at the Robinson Metal De Pere location on Eisenhower Drive. Product Handling Concepts became the fifth division of Robinson Metal, Inc.
