Robinson and general contractor J.T. Magen & Company Inc. overcame a logistical nightmare to deliver custom generator enclosures to a New York City skyscraper.

Thanks to Robinson’s manufacturing expertise, a European carbon capture company looking to enter the U.S. market was able to roll out a new product. The company brought us their design, and that’s when our process began. We provided input on the manufacturability of the design and developed a prototype.

A Fortune 100 technology company came to Robinson for help building an enclosure for its new energy storage product. Thanks to our flexible manufacturing capabilities, we developed a production line specifically for this product. While adding a new line for a customer project is unique, it speaks to our willingness to invest in customers with whom we share a strong mutual relationship.

Every so often, we are asked to find creative solutions to logistical puzzles. A few of our gen set projects are examples. We’ve stacked gen sets one on top of the other and side by side to maximize space. We’ve also gotten creative with exhaust funneling to meet EPA requirements.

At Robinson, competitors can be partners. Such was the case for a food processing equipment manufacturer that had more demand for a meat grinding product than the company could make. We lent a hand as an excess capacity provider, helping fabricate the parts of the project we do best.

We aligned with a paper product manufacturer on its maintenance and repair program. To help mitigate downtime in a high-production facility, we fabricated replacement parts that became standard in inventory. Once the parts were designed, it was easy for us to fabricate more on demand.
