Robinson Gives Back: How We Support Our Local Community & Organizations

Robinson Robbers bowling team

Since we first opened our doors in 1975, Robinson has always a culture of caring, providing our team members with advancement and continuing education opportunities, as well as support for our neighbors in the community. We see ourselves as a family, helping each other learn, grow and succeed. Our community is part of that family—it’s where we all live, where our children go to school, and where our future lies. It’s in our nature to give back to the community, and it’s the right thing to do.

A tradition of doing good

You’ll see us out there as active participants, helping to bolster local organizations that support our local community needs. We have a proud and long history of supporting such organizations as Baird Creek Preservation Foundation in their mission to enhance the creek’s value as an ecological, recreational and educational resource for generations to come. Big Brothers, Big Sisters is another of our passion projects, as is Pearly Gates Veterans Benefit, and Hope House of Manitowoc. Our involvement extends to the Golden House, Manitowoc Public Library and others.

Strengthening our community and workplace

Our support comes in many forms—whatever is needed. Our employees get hands-on, such as supporting Adopt-a-Family programs, and we also make financial donations. So what’s in it for us? Giving back to our community is a great opportunity to engage in teamwork and collaborate on a local cause—it makes us stronger as a company. Equally important, it helps build stronger communities. And isn’t that what we all want: a great place to work and live?
